Scent is invisible. The most potent selling factor is the bottle! A whopping 75% of perfume buyers purchase based on packaging. Some companies are even known to completely rebrand a product by changing only its packaging, which translates a lot better on the market.
When you walk into a department store at the fragrance counter or a fragrance boutique, you notice the whimsical, the loud, the unique, and the colorful. These creative designs that contain liquid luxury date all the way back to around 1000 BC.
The Egyptians used scents lavishly, especially in religious rites. When they invented glass, it was largely used to make perfume vessels.

In 2014, not knowing what we were doing, we started off with a gold purse sprayer which was a hand-labeled with burgundy stickers. In 2019, we moved to the three ML clear sample roll-on bottles with a transparent label that was applied by hand. Understanding our brand a lot more in 2021, we moved to packaging that accurately conveys the brand. Unique bottles that are effortless and distinctive with a silk pressed label. During this process, we were tempted to mimic other bigger brands on the market, being driven by the fear of not being understood or being different.
